Excellent, thats going to be an intersting boat with 60 hp on 4m, QHM will be watching you like a hawk just incase you decide to open her up a bit.

Are you going to Littlehampton now ?

WOW! That will be a lot of fun. Let me know what the top speed, fuel consumption, and general handling of the boat with that much power is. We have contemplated putting a yammie 55hp on ours, and was wondering what it would be like! thanks!

i just sold my calibra was a good car, - good tow car, reliable, cheap for the money and look okay too - what do you want for well under a grand that has 150 bhp standard?

I do agree tho - when they get in the hands of boy racers, chavs, etcs they do tend to ruin what is already a nice shape with stupid spoliers and neons etc - giving the calibra a bad name - hey look at citroen saxos eh, !

I have a 4.0 Searider with a 60hp Mariner on the back. If you are thinking about taking her flat out please let me come and watch !!!!!!!!!!!!! I find 3/4 throttle is about the max I can take her. After 3/4 throttle in anything other than flat seas, things get a little bit to interesting for comfort. You will find your wet hull becomes a dry hull very quickly - be warned !!!!!!!!!!!!
