Life expectancy of a diesel sterndrive
Following on from henryfreston's "Life expectancy of a 4 stroke" thread, how about modern light weight diesels?
For a boat that is run for several hundred hours a year, assuming that it is serviced as scheduled, what sort of service life would you budget for engine and drive?
