Don't apologise to me!

I think it would be better if the diss thing had to have a reason attached.

Wow Richard the Wildheart. Getting a traffic ticket is not having a bad experience with the long arm of the law. It's just an indication of your inability to avoid detection

re the user reputation system it should go as it's being abused!

Exactly how, Stuart? Remember, "if you make a statement of fact, be prepared to back it up with some evidence" or is this another case of "anybody that says different is talking bollix"

Examples

Re the user registration

What was all that shit between you and the Jackeens accusing each other of voting for each others partners. JW and Missus Jackeen handing out each other points. I would call that abusing the system

re Bad experience with the Police

Try looking down the wrong end of a gun barrell whilst a Mexican policeman is shaking you down for money

Or fall foul of a couple of Spanish coppers at the wrong time

Or worst still get caught speeding in what was East Germany

I also think a guy called Rodney King has had a bad experience at the hands of the police in LA

Suddenly a fixed penalty ticket seems quite pleasant

But seriously Richard asked me to give examples of where the system is flawed so I gave him some. I agree with the Tim's and it should go

Just fun... outrageously accusing each other of nepotism. I know that Kathleen was no more serious about it than I was. And if JW and The Jackeens wish to award each other points, that's their business in the same way that it was my own business when I gave you points when you did a good post (yeah, just the once... ). The fact that I still owe you thirty kwid has nothing to do with it and anyone who says so is talking bollix .

re Bad experience with the Police
I happen to agree with you there - sounds like you've got some experiences to tell in 'shooz confessions thread. I used the "driving related" closure as a general coment to cover a multitude of "sins", but most people do have a cynical attitude towards the police based on some incident. I like to have an open mind on this, because even the police are human, and I have my own anecdote which is much more interesting after a few in the King's Head in Yarmouth on a Sunday.
Mind you, Stephen Lawrence's family probably have a different outlook on this subject, but I think that's well outside the scope of the RIBnet forum.
