I think we are in desperate need of an Anorak smiley!

I think I'll be needing a sad face over the next few months cos I'll be bogged down with uni work :-(

I don't plan to add loads to the forum, but you're not restricted to using the ones here. There are thousands out there -- a Google search for "smilies" would be a good place to start

Because they are a pointless waste of space that will add nothing to the usefulness of the forums. There will never be avatars on RIBnet. Give up!

Similarly because I don't see that it will add any value to the site. I've done away with smilies in sigs, and I'll probably get rid of bold and coloured text too before long as the sigs become more prominent than the actual posts -- although in some cases the sigs have more content anyway!

John
I take your point on sigs, it get cluttered and hard to read, but I struggle to find smilies that helps to emphasize the points I’m attempting to make. I would partially like an anorak smiley.

The case for the prosecution rests.

I refer you to point 3 in the General posting guidelines:

Don't upload irrelevant attachments
Image attachments are welcome where they are interesting or useful. Generic pictures and clip art do not fall into either category.

Thank you!
John
