We had a 340 does it have a console and jockey or just a plank for a seat?

The 340 was ok a bit slammy in chop and was better solo than 4 up had 25hp 2 stroke was a bit limited for space with 2 seat console the 310 is smaller and will be a max 15hp?

No issues with the hull or tubes when we had it was new in 06 iirc might have been earlier and sold it 3 years ago ish should have kept it seeing prices these days

It's a max 15hp like you say with wooden sectional flooring

I have a Rover 310 SIB, it has a max HP of 10. I run a Tohutsu 9.8 on it and I'd say its a fantastic little boat.

Much better quality than the more modern stuff.

If it's a great deal I'd snap it up.

I recently obtained this Avon rover when I brought an engine I wanted. This lighter grey colour I think is maybe 90's or noughties. Most of the avon rovers you see are the dark grey with varnished ply floors, which I think are 1970's.

I was considering keeping this boat, as it was hypalon, yet slightly lighter than my Ali floor Yam. However, I didn't for the following reasons - it only has 2 chambers, not three. Also, the wooden floor doesn't go right to the bow, there is a small triangle from the keel valve forward with no floor. As I use the boat for fishing I quite like the security of 3 chambers in case I get a puncture. Similarly, with the floor, I didn't like the idea of a hook, lead weight, lure etc getting down the unprotected bit at the front.

Apart from these two peculiarities, it did seem like a nice boat and well built.
