Stability Test

Hi Guys

Im looking at a 2nd hand boat that is currently coded till may 2008, however at that point the owner said she is due a "stability test" whats a ball park figure to getting her re- coded and what is the additional cost of the stability test?

FYI its a 8m humber

stab test is part of coding process. coding fees be around 500 for that size boat

The fees and the process are I think published on the various coding agencies websites and the RYA' site.

MECAl, IIMS and YSDA are coders . You could keep it in the Ribnet fraternity and use Duncan Searider who is not only a good surveyor but a keen ribster as well

What's involved in a stability test. Do they tip yer boat until it falls over?
