Who was out at Yarmouth then?
Drugs found tied to lobster pots
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of importing drugs after suspect packages were found attached to lobster pots off the coast.
They were arrested in Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight on Sunday evening in a joint operation involving police and the UK Border Agency.
Rucksacks attached to the pots were spotted on Sunday morning.
Around 200 kilos (440 lbs) of what is believed to be class A drugs were recovered from the rucksacks.
If tests prove positive, the estimated value would be around £8m, said a Soca spokesman.
The men, in their 30s and early 40s, are currently being held at a police station in Hampshire where they are being questioned by officers from Soca.

The number of lobster pots were only being discussed in the pub last week.......
I guess worth more than a few decent lobsters - imagine pulling one of them up and having to explain !
'Honestly officer I was just going to nik a lobster - not the millions of pounds of drugs'
I think however this is Great Yarmouth - home of the famous wax museum..........Google it for the 'stunning wax creations'.....

Yarmouth IOW according to the BBC.
I find it hard to believe anyone is stupid enough to do that in the Solent!

I was taking it from here ;
http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/conte...A09%3A48%3A983
& the fact they are in Norwich Court...... who knows - I'm off to pull up some pot , lobster pots ......
Maybe the Solent was a double bluff ? There are so many pots & boats no-one really notices them ( until they end up in the prop) and it full of total nutters -so madness doesn't stand out.
Surely a 1000 hp cigarette boat wont look odd pulling pots in the Solent ?????

No, definitely no rank stupidity exclusion zone-more like an idiot magnet at times.
However, doing something like that in an area so busy is asking to get caught.
