I wouldn't put a car Jack on a rapier hull,

Bob Jim I used to pay tax at the higher rate and then I started working with boats

Too right - never flown one myself but did fly a twin otter - pretty good stol performance for it's size.

That'll be an 8.5m ProSport, then - if my reading between the lines of past postings is correct? Don't worry about the photos, Codders, you're more than capable of boring us all silly without them

Now I don't know how many times I have to say this, but the use of the apostrophe in 'it's' is to indicate that the 'i' has been dropped from 'it is'. The possessive form, which is what you're looking for here, is spelt 'its'.

Sorry Gav was just being sarky but not aimed at you!!!

I was just narked at being wound up.

If people WERE being serious I just fail to see how hanging an engine 10" further back would make ANY hull more prone to stuffing.

Well, if you went to sleep at night instead of trawling the internet at 3 o'clock every morning, you'll find it does wonders for your blood pressure, or are you simply a dalek? By the way, does the 'cod' prefix in your username refer to your 'compulsive obsessive disorder' to have the last word?

Holy shit............why..........

.......didn't anyone invite me along on this Mackerel fishing trip, it looks like it's been a cracker. It must have been the boring tag line "The Election" that kept me from buying a ticket. Is there still room for a little'un ?

In my opinion.........

......which is basically what we're all voicing on this thread, people in this country don't vote because they have no need to. By that I mean, if they vote or not, whichever party elected will not adversly effect their life.

Where as, if you live in say, Syria - Ukraine - Yemen - Nigeria - Rowanda etc, your vote can actually change your life, therefore one sees people forming a queue some 12 hours before a polling booth is even open in the knowledge that they have the power to make a difference.

Here in the U.K and for many other E.C markets including the U.S. people don't fear for tomorrow and therefore don't feel it necessary to vote for change.

As I said, just my opinion.
