Seeing as you are probably bored with all my posts of still shots of our Tall ships,I thought I would post this video clip.

It's a documentary of the crew and covers the weekend when they take the Star out on her annual sail.They do it yearly, to maintain her title of the oldest operating sailing ship in the world.
In fact Bayshots makes a fleeting appearance(blink and you will miss her ) just after the lady does her pirate impersonation .

In fact the Maritime museum are organising a tour this summer to Europe and also the UK.Taking in Bristol,portsmouth,London and the birthplace of the "star" . So be nice to the Yank Tourists

Will never get tired of your pics - I love old ships!!! It is just rather annoying that Britain seems to negelct it's history so much - most of our ships are over with you - the Star of India being just 1 example!!!

here's another one ,of the Cannon battles I was covering the other week.
In fact I am visible off the bow in a couple of the shots.
The footage was shot from the "Interceptor" against our hometown ship "Californian"
