My charity project needs help

Hello folks,

Im from a lowestoft based organisation using a ex RNLI all weather lifeboat built in the town as a youth training vessel. We've recently had a very generous donation which has enabled us to purchase the boat. However we still need to do a number of refit jobs and buy equipment for the trainees use. I wonder if I could ask the members of rib net to show you're supporting us by voting on the Aviva community fund pages, this could help us get £25,000 for our refit.

Thank you.

Scott

I'm not sure how much help you'll get from us. We are still recovering from our Macmillan build which was funded by the Ribnet members and friends. You haven't mentioned what will happen to the boat afterwards. Is this a charity project?

I think there's probably a clue in the thread title.

All he's asking is for a couple of mouse clicks. I think most of us can manage that without too much bother!

Try this one. Further details on our website www.50001.org.uk

Don't worry I'm not here to ask members for money, just like John says a few mouse clicks is all we need

Thanks

Got that. You might even get some of the RIBnet guys from your area giving a hand if you want it. There are a lot of talented trade people on here

I've added another 10... not just because "someone on a forum" asked but I was lucky by the time I was 12 to have sailed on craft from a 10ft dinghy on the river to crossing the channel as "junior crew" on a traditional motor sailer slightly larger than the project lifeboat.

Boating is a unique and special experience so would be a real thrill for those able to participate in Lifeboat Trust events.

Sounds a bit cheesy... but true.
