Carrying A Fishing Rod On A Bike

Anyone know of a holder you can buy, or could suggest a DIY solution?

TIA.

Piece of 1.5" PVC plumbing with a slot cut in it for the reel. Hose clamp the PVC to an upright and run a small bungie from the bottom of the PVC pipe, up and around the reel, back down to the bottom of the PVC pipe to hold the rod securely.

Works like a charm. I used that for several years. Even took that same setup and adapted it to my Honda CB750 later in life.
