Anyone run a company in the USA from UK?

As this site can be a mine of useful info I thought I would ask.......

Looks like I will need to set up a company in the USA along with a bank account and merchant facilities.

Delaware looks an obvious choice and I see there are many companies offering an all in one service to do all the hard work for you. i suspect there are a lot of sharks out there though so does anyone have any advice???

I did notice that HSBC offer all sorts of accounts etc but don't know if they can sort out companies as well.

Do not use a company on the E. coast; they are all sharks. Pick the mid west like Arizona. Should cost about $300.00 to set up a Corp. Your biggest challenge is going to be setting up an international bank account. Took me 2 months. Remember, they assume you are a terrorist. Have just been thru. the process and it is not fun.
