Don't count on it, they're No.2 in the World rankings against a scratch side that've only been together for 6 weeks. The Wallabies are no mugs that had a shit game.

IMHO, the Lions were bloody lucky to sneak the result. When Hooper went to 12 Sexton should've sent North and Cuthgert through him, over him and around him. It was an opportunity to run riot. Instead, the Lions only just held on with the help of a slippery pitch.

Gutted for o'driscoll. Think Gatland has made a poor call. Certainly done little to help Irish support! The attached link very funny though!

He G that is is without doubt the worst Lions head coach ever!!!!! His final selection is questionable at best diabolical at worst. I do not fancy our chances. Sorry Paul I do agree with bOD being dropped. We need pace in the middle don't know if The Welsh two are the answer I think I would be shoving big Mr T in. But we will support and wait and see. Final word would have love to see big Richie get a chance as he had proved himself mid week.

Well that was a pretty unpleasant couple of hours. There were only 3 of us wearing gold amongst the vast swathe of red and the 18st Ulsterman behind me, who was 10 pints in, yanked my head backwards and kissed me full on the mouth for the North and then Roberts tries. He even had the audacity to complain that I was wearing lip salve !

It went horribly wrong from the opening kick off with the misunderstanding between Douglas and Genia that led straight to Corbisero try in the 2nd minute. I thought the Alexander sin binning was harsh, particularly as the Lions were looking to exploit their front row dominancy, but the Wallabies did really well to clamber back into the match at 19-16 after a torrid first half.

Credit where credit's due, Halfpenny again was absolutely outstanding (head and shoulders above the rest ?) and aside from his excellent defensive work, set up both the Sexton and North tries.

It was good to see Richie Gray get a run on at the end as I felt he might have been worth his place in the starting XV. It was also pleasing to see the game won by some good tries rather than that dour affair over in Melbourne.

On the bright side, Robbie Deans should be asked to clear his desk very soon...

Lip salve? Wow - things have relaxed in Oz since my time there in the 80's. Back then, the Aussies were tougher people. Their recommended solution for cracked lips was to "kiss a horse's @rse".

...didn't actually cure cracked lips, but apparently it stopped you licking them.
