So many posts . I just logged on and saw the last page with ref to BBQ and limpets etc and presumed it was talk about the weekend just gone .
That magners has pickled my brain . Teatotal again from now on .

Just an idea here , caja has a small dingy packs up to nothing and holds 2 men . is it worth taking to land the last person to tie up . There is a landing stage so all but one rib will OK .

Roy I guess you could paddle ashore on the big towable?

Roy no water taxi for sure mybe 100yd to get ashore .
Have read the posts now and caut up I hope .

A few things come to mind .
I guess the camp site on bryher is ok for the numbers going ?

Water toys wakeboards etc , not sure where you will be able use them exept for well offshore of the islands .certainly between the islands would not be possible .

Not sure who wants passengers but Caja is desperate to come , says she is missing Amy and Kareena is also up for it if there is room .

I also have a load of fuel cans and the 25L tank for my SIB if it helps anyone out .

I have 2 big metal 20l cans a plastic 10l and a few 5l

We've got a ten bob Trago's dinghy which I could take. Our QS 2.3m I'm reluctant to drag out there as it takes up room which I can ill afford to lose. I really don't mind slinging the hook and swimming. Speaking of hooks, can we all make sure that we appropriately equipped in that dept. Not keen on half of SW Ribsters hanging off mine. Ian, are you thinking sibbing out or hopping on a Rib?

Would like to hop on a rib and pay the fuel if anyone has room .
SIB would be useful out there but could be a right pain with my crew should it get a little rough .
I can't imagine 30 miles of sea like Monday coming back from Scilly

Sounds like we got similar Trago dingys , wan't a race

As mentioned, you are very welcome to hop on with us. I can comfortably seat 5. At the mo my son Joseph, is wriggling as he has a cricket match on Sat morn. If he cops out then Milly is likely too aswell which would be a shame. It'll leave more space though.

Sounds good to me . Bob was also looking for a pasenger or two I believe so between you we would probably all be able to go .
If I don't take my boat it will be flat sea all the way , if i do it will turn out rough , sods law.

If anyone fancy's a SIB ride over (free of charge ) I will take it and plant the family on another boat . There is so much to see and get close to out there that would be good in the sib

I'm getting very envious reading all these posts, having just got home from a great extended weekend in your territory. Thanks to Alice, Bob, Roy, Ian, Hugh Jardon & families for making the weekend very enjoyable.
Hope you all have a great time and hope Roy's BBQ does the trick. If you need some grub for the BBQ, I've stuffed a boxful of rotting mackerel under Hugh Jardon's caravan.

Only problem with boating all weekend is that I missed the bike and had to take this morning off for a ride .
Somehow this always happens , I rode to the coast and the sea was calm and the sun shining ,

Have a good IOM trip

Hugh caught a monster Pollack yesterday, which we all tucked into at midnight for the final supper - tasted great marinated in French Salad Dressing - good idea that one, Chef Jardon. Shame we didn't have any on the BBQ Monday afternoon, but the bananas were an excellent substitute - well done Mrs Alice.

Just dug the bike out of the garage and gave it a clean up. Now, just have to find my leathers and hope they still fit.
Gearchange on the left isn't it?

Enjoy the Scillies - will try to get online on IOM to see how you all get on.

After talking to Sticky Im going to leave my Trunk n Trailer at the Heliport as well, save a lot of hassel driving back to Hayle.

Shall I book Nippy Cabs to pick us (Kernow, Ranski, Sticky, Shaggy) up at the Heliport at say 10:00 for the return trip back to the Quay?

I am planning on getting to PZ for 08:45 (which means 09:00) on Sat morning to drop Spare RIB in and run preflight checks

Shaggy

shaggy - waypoints can be downloaded from riblog or the thread about the christmas trip

but to be honest I'm going to pretty much ad hoc my way across this time just keeping the rout as backup incase fog sets in.

Yeah, we've got room for one or two passengers.
