St Kilda Bound (11th April 2011)

Second week in April we will be heading out to St kilda (weather permitting) for a few days of cruising and diving. Anybody else fancy coming out?

Somewhere I've always fancied, three diving trips booked there over the last few years, three cancelled due to weather

I don't think I'd make it in a 4m RIB but it'd probably be interesting trying

Yes you would if you choose your day carefully. I've done there and back in a sib in a day with plenty of on shore time.

JW but you are mental! What we little boats really need is someone with a big cabin rib to "escort" us all there!

I did have to re-read that about the SIB! Wow!

Doing it with an escort sounds good.

things are starting to be firmed up for the second week in April. Using leverburgh as a base we will (weather dependant) attempt the crossing at some point during that week. We currently have four divers and a skipper aboard........and we would welcome "escorting" anyone else out.....
