Sothampton Area

Next week on wednesday I am going for a jaunt in the area of Calshot/Cowes/Ryde/Ventnor etc.

What I would like is some recomondations for Ale Houses that are in view of a beached craft.

I have been to the Folly Inn at the River Medina, but would like to know of anywhere else on the IOW between Cowes and Ventnor that any one could recommend with free parking and site of duly tied up boat.

I don't mind if I have to beach the boat I just want to be able to keep an eye on it whilst I'm having refreshements.

Many Thanks in advance.

Nick R.

Wooton Creek is lovely .. little channel best nearest high tide cos it dries at the top near the pub. DJL came along recently and we all chilled out in the sun a few feet way from the boats
