At last, the boat is fueled up, parked up, secured up now I'm gonna get beered up!
Although the weather could have been kinder what a fun day. Thanks PeteM for a great lunch and great company both of you. Hopefully the go pro footage will have something rather than grey cloud. Need to tighten those swivels!

Sorry we dropped out of the party at Portsmouth - we were freezing, and there was no appetite for the trip over to Cowes too.
We moored up at Haslar (kudos to them for the free berth ) and watched Alex complete his journey, then went on the ferry over to Gunwharf Quays for a warming lunch at the Indian.
Hailstones in the face at 35Kts is painful, up to the point where your face is so cold you loose feeling anyway.
Thanks guys for stopping to pick up our cover, which blew out of the boat without any of us even noticing! Always happy to provide some MOB practice for ya.
Luckily the return trip was uneventful, but time to search for the 'which gloves...' thread.

Funny you should say about gloves, search for sealskin Peter bought some mitts in Cowes, I got mine from go out doors.
Great to meet you lot, thanks for the mob practice got my glove wet though but glad we saved your cover
Nice rib by the way, heard lots of good things from Trevor G about the ballistic 6.5
