OK...at Bluebird Cafe Lee for 9.00. Leaving Haslar at 10.00...rendez vous at Black Jack / Calshot at 11.00

If it's stinky then play in Soton Water...if OK...cross to Cowes.

Ian had a glint in his eye last night at the prospect of seeing his new boat!!!

Bogib's just got up and said...there is no bad weather only wrong clothes (he's from Iceland after all)...

Waver's woken up on the sofa and wants me to say it's rugged weather for rugged people...(speak for yourself..I didn't polish off all the cider in the house last unlike more!!!)

I'm not lazy, Missus. I'll be down Monday to do the important work. Anyway, I had heard that that crafty bugger, Greenwood, had only invited people onto Black Jack, for its inaugural cruise, because of their weight value. He said to me last week that he needed 12 of the fattest southern wusses he could find to get a good idea of how the boat ran fully loaded. Obviously, this disqualified me. Have a good day.

Just driven home from work along Stokes and Lee, I'm almost glad that my rib isn't ready for the water

At one point I thought I was at sea, as I drove past the breakwaters at Stokes bay.

Hope you all manage to get afloat, have some fun and recover OK.

I'll be working on the boat if the weather gets better and I'll try to tune the VHF into your Feq. just to make me really depressed.

Well, I'm fat enough..and "wussy" enough.. is that why I've been invited? Fair enough, I know it wasn't for my good looks and charm........

Rich B. was spot on. Maybe he's God....

Well the three Pompey Boats are in safely anyway...the Soton boats went to Cowes (well done!!! ) and were in the Folly last time we spoke to them.

It was not a boating day.

We stayed in Pompey (Louise & Richard, Bogib, Suzuki Pete, Jackeen & I)...going to Port Solent for lunch and back down the harbour...we did stick our noses out but skips were muttering about cavitation so we stayed in.

Probably no trouble to Black Jack & Top Banana though.
DJL made an excellent risk assessment and didn't launch (V. good decision...Calshot was probably a nightmare...)

Blue Ice would've been fine but we stuck together

Suzuki Pete is a nutter.

There was plenty fun in Pompey Harbour's waves!!!

We saw Matt's boat DR ...very swish!!!

Looking forward to seeing some of you later

Missus

We've dropped Bogi back at Heathrow and we're home now after a great weekend.

St Patrick and BlackJack have both been well and truly celebrated.

Great as always to meet new faces, but there's one mystery...

Will I ever meet Ribald?
