looks like we'll be able to launch and get out of Herne bay at about 11:00 - 11:30 i'll monitor channel 77 and maybe say hello and give Daniel a depth update for Herne bay as he will be on final approach by 11:30, at the moment it will just be me from Herne bay as i've not had updates from anyone else yet but its still early in the week and things change.
My call sign is TANGO
My Girls..... assume you will be talking with Phil D some time this week as he will need directions to Burnham and a time to meet.
propose we all meet at southend peir at 13:00 hours if mooring at the pier posses a problem then maybe as an alternative suggestion we head around to Queensbourgh to moor up.
i need to be back in Herne bay for 17:20 at the latest or i'll spend half the night on the mud !
See you at the party !!
Richard

Yeah there are a couple of places next to the train station just before the end of the pier. Can thoroughly recommend the hot chocolate with addition of a tot of rum!! Oh yes and the chip butty!

Jason & Bernie final arrangement
Guys,
I can confirm our plan is to be launched and ready to go at 10:00 on Saturday (Subject to weather) from Burnham Yacht Harbour. This will allow for a leisurely cruise to southend including plenty of food and drink stops!!
Any other confirmed Burnham departures?
See you at 13:00 hours.

Checked the weather forcast for Saturday this morning and its looking so far likely to be a force 4 with a 13 knot wind for the Thames Estuary with scattered sunny periods.

Hi Daniel.
Thanks for the offer - will have a word with Richard.
I think, though, that this weekend he's planning on doing more work on Blue Ice. He's also in the process of booking it in for an engine service & to have lifting eyes put in but not sure when yet. As I said before, I'll speak to RB & let you know.
Cheers.

SE Ribsters
Apologies to all SE Ribsters that attended the trip to Southend for not turning up. I collected my boat from storage on Friday morning, put all kit on board in the afternoon looking forward to the next day. Had early night, not setting the alarm due to body clock waking at 5am (normally) woke up at 9am and felt like id been hit by a bulldozer during the night, text P.Davies to tell him i would be at the pier at 1pm, took 2 beechams tablets and fell asleep. Only today have i felt myself again and am looking for a cruise to join ASAP.
Richard
