Lymington, St Malo, Falmouth, The Scillys & Cork.

Hi everyone,
Been a big fan of Rib.net for years, never posted anything before.
Been on the water for over 25 years now and loving it even more as time goes by.
Myself and a mate of mine are bringing two ribs back to Ireland, the scenic route in a few weeks time.
Just putting it out there if anyone wants to come along for a leg or two or three.
We planning to leave Lymington on the 14th of May (weather permitting) and hit for St Malo on day 1
Either Falmouth or Plymouth on day 2 (flexible on this)
The Scillys on day 3
And home to Cork on day 4
We will be cruising with a Cobra 8.6 diesel and a Scorpion 9.75 diesel, hoping to pop along at 30 knots and take in a few island stops along the way for refreshments.
Should be good craic
Would love if any fellow rib enthusiasts are interested and it suits to come along for a part of the voyage.

Also, and most importantly, i would appreciate any advice, suggestions and local knowledge on our planned trip.
We wouldn't be familiar with the waters around that area.

Sounds like a great trip you have planned there. I would perhaps suggest that 30 knots cruising speed may be slightly ambitious target for passage planning purposes even if the weather etc is in your favour. I'd normally aim around the 20 knot mark for planning and consider achieving anymore than that a bonus, regardless of boat capability.
