If Anyone sees a weather forecast that puts them off running in smaller boats, I have convinced Mark to turn out his 10m Coastline RIB with twin 300's which he uses for work rather than a 6metre. The boat will leave Gosport Marina about 1030 and we have spaces, so meet about 100ish,

Mark and his good lady were going and I have dropped onto his boat and suggested the big boat which he has agreed. If anyone is looking to run over with us please pm soon.

My plans have come unstuck as the rib is inop for tomorrow :-(
Anybody got a spare seat they would like to offer up for a few quid petrol money? Preferably from Soton / Hamble, and I'm up for a jaunt to the needles if it is an option!

Been on the island since Friday. The weather has been sunny but cold. Friday was a bit windy but no big seas. Today it's been flat calm

Thanks Mark (and Ian)! I've sent you a txt.
I'm not on the Folly food list, so will be hunting for scraps falling off the table. I need to lose a few pounds anyway.

Ok..
If anyone is down on numbers that made a menu choice can I ask you to either offer your choice to someone who is now not making it, or make a quick line on arrival to let the folly know. They have been good so am keen not to make thumbs too hard for them (or me!).
I booked the weather but it arrived 24 hours early. I sat outside in just a shirt feeling too hot and wishing I'd taken the boat out !
Wind is due to pick up ( not hard from nil today) but only to about 12knt westerly - so I still feel doable for all
It will be cold - but no ice this time
Pete
