Yerr, telling me. He certainly ain't daft, he runs rings around me, but that's not much of a challenge tbh.
He can out snore, out fart, out eat me AND lick his ba115 (or at least where they used to be), though I'm sure he'd let me if I gave him a biscuit

Bloody typical

Forecast has gone from very poor vis but dry, to very good vis & weather warnings for heavy rain, give me strength. Still no wind though

I think the problem for the forecasters is demonstrated by the Atlantic Pressure Chart:

Noon Saturday is T+60, and this shows an Occluded front right on our course across.

One side will be OK, the other cloudy and wet!

Met Office: Surface pressure forecast

Occluded front (or 'occlusion')

Occlusions form when the cold front of a depression catches up with the warm front, lifting the warm air between the fronts into a narrow wedge above the surface. Occluded fronts bring cloud and precipitation.

So, I guess we'll get what we get

Thundery bursts as well. Due to the height of Pikey's comms stack I would give him a wide berth.

Doesn't matter what weather site I look at for your cruise area I'm afraid it looks wet, but some sun and little wind. But ha its summertime you can't have evertyhing. For me the one aspect I like is little wind i'm sure you can put up with a little water enrouts. Just think of the Dark stuff and I don't mean the Wolverine TT

My drysuit as been in an out the bag all week, this weather forecasting stuff is a waste of time.
Looks like i will have to add an umbrella to my kit list Should still be a good trip even if its a wet one
