Around the Isle of Wight

I'm taking a group of colleagues out on Saturday, 29 July. I'm planning a trip around the Isle of Wight. Any other RIBsters interested in joining us for part of the trip?

I might reschedule to Sunday, with the current weather forecast for Saturday in mind. I'll decide nearer the time. It looks like it is going to be very wet, it is just a case of when it will hit.

I'm going to give it a go tomorrow. Probably anti-clockwise. I'll leave Calshot around 10:00 if anyone wants to join me.

It was a nice trip. All the usual places that you would expect to be rough were, ie The Needles and St Cats.

Discovered a new beach (for me at least) called Luccombe Bay, which is between Ventor and Shanklin. It is a lovely sandy bay, with limited access from the high cliff above. There are some rocks to watch out for, but you should be able to plot a course in. Ideal for swimming and BBQs.
