Wakeboarding season has started

Finally got the courage to go back in the water again after the winter. It was 10 deg C in the water - 1 1/2 deg colder than November when I was in last.

To my surprise I found it a lot easier than last year.

Met up with Chris and Esther in the afternoon for a fantastic BBQ.

Thanks for organising such a fantastic spread - it really put my outdoor cooking skills to shame

You're a brave guy Roy, it looks as if the weather was a little kinder in your part of the world yesterday.

Hey, Alice, maybe you and Roy's mate with the 150 Opti could swap notes? You never did answer my question as to what sort of boat your opti was on anyway...

Sorry Jimbo, I missed that one. It's on '74 Winner Wildcat.

Nono, you see I think this is a genuine mistake. Alice's Winner Wildcat (assuming it's the same one) had a 135 on the back. And I think he's sold it.

Alice is probably just having a memory lapse over exactly which boats with which engines are current

Yep, that's a fair description. There's another photo of the chap and his boat here, I think you'd have liked him Alice, you share a similar sense of humour, and the same engine...

You have messed up the link there Jimbo, although I believe this is the one your after:
this one

Speaking of which our short lived member srellom (mollers spelt backwards ) did not last long, would have gotten on like a house on fire with Alice not to mention Rob Jones
A few classics here for the rest of the students that should be doing Geography based essays like me and Jimbo.Posts by srellom

well played Mollers

Alex, you are quite right, although I have now fixed it.

That Osprey is so close to the one Alice was moving into his barn, perhaps he bought it from Mollers? That might explain the confusion ref engines I suppose. It's a shame Mollers is no longer with us - he and Alice would have had much to talk about.
