USCG. does have its perks
Coast Guard do great work around here,but being based in San Diego does seem to have its perks
Great equipment to play with and perfect climate to enjoy it.
Caught the "Petrel" deploying its fast response boat ready for patrol.
Then one the SAFE boats pulling over a hardboater for violation of the "gaudy colour " ordinance.
But on seeing his passengers he got away with it
Certainly made them smile
Tough life being in the CoastGuard.
Tough life being a photographer too

I tell you though; you know you are getting old,when the CoastGuard look like young kids
Actually they dont mind being photographed and I'm sure they are going to be ordering a couple of copies for themselves
