Nice Avon military

Just seen these stunning RIBs - built by our local boatbuilders under licence from Avon - hull and tubes come from Llanelli - boat finished in Swansea - Welsh Ribs rule!!!

Blokes driving them didn't have a clue though - great lesson in how NOT to dock - I know it was the first sea trial but even so....

Wish Avon would do more advertising - they keep stunning boats like this quiet - nice to see they haven't lost their touch!!!

Photos from phone so not much good.

Bet they weren't cheap - Ulman Seats - 2x 225 Yam 2 strokes - Raymarine electronics - must be £100,000 each. Ribs are 8.4m by the way. Look tough as old boots.

You sure on the length on those boats Cod? They look a little short in comparison to my craft although the picture angle may have something to do with it..

Yup they are 8. somthing metres - sure the bloke said 8.4m.

They don't look that big do they but maybe it is because they are so chunky. For example a skinny person will always look taller than a chunky one even though they may be the same height.
