Levington cruise

Went for a cruise out of Levington on Friday. Took my dad as it was the first time he had been out to sea since he had a stroke 5 years ago. We had a great day with a quick blast up the coast to woodbridge haven then back to Harwhich for a spot of lunch. After lunch we had a quick run up the river Stour and finished off with a run up to Woolverstone. These were the areas me dad used to cruise in a lot when he had his Moonraker 36, but due to his stroke his 'baby' had to go.

The look on his face all day was brilliant. He reckoned he had a top day out and he never seemed to stop grinning

However we must get him some decent ribbing clothes as the pic below suggests Me, I was in shorts and tee shirt!!!!!!

Pic2 is KeyMar moored at the overnight moorings at Harwich and Pic3 is the reason im gonna take up sea fishin!!!!

Sorry I didn't get down to see you Martin but my business meeting in Yarmouth went on longer than I had planned.I'm pleased your father had a great time,as I said mine had a stroke in February and he is looking forward to a trip out as he has always had boats himself.
