Exuma National Park

We took out a group of environmentalists from the Bahamas Natural History Conference presented by the Bahamas National Trust.

We headed to their outpost on Warderick Wells, an island in the Exuma Cays. We stopped at Allens Cay to see the iguanas, snorkeled in paradise, and walked the trails of the remote island.

This island is within the national park system of the Bahamas, one of the great places that the BNT is working hard to preserve. We have a large amount of parks to protect our fisheries, hatcheries, marine and land wildlife.

We are truly blessed to show the world our backyard!

I have spent a lot of time in the Exumas. Truly beautiful spot. Thanks for sharing the pic from what looks like the park office pier. We will be there in July.
