A BIG Rib

Hi there

How about this for a BIG rib.

Spotted at John O'Groats last week doing wildlife tour and 'WHITE WATER BOATING' (sounds fun).

11.5 m, 450 hp deisel engine, jet propulsion (not a prop).

Wow. Makes mine look like a bit dropped off!!!

That's the latest one from Ocean Dynamics. It's even got twelve, proper, forward facing passenger seats!

The boats that they use for their own tours (Thousand Island Adventures) still have people sitting on the tubes . . .

Another Big One!

The big one is an 11m Stormforce built by Red Bay Boats. It's fitted with 2 x 240hp Yamaha Diesels and has a top speed of 43 knots. It's used mainly for cruising round the Scottish Islands, this photo was taken 2 weeks ago in Fortwilliam.
