ZED 26 in Beige - Cannot find patches

Hi Everyone

Just joined this forum so hope someone can help. I have a cream/beige Zodiac ZED inflatable which unfortunately has a leak. I have searched high and low for a matching patch (PVC) but seems there is every colour but the beige I am looking for. Any ideas where I can get one?

Many thanks.

I'm pretty sure that material was made by Zodiac by one of its aerospace divisions, back when it was "the Zodiac group". You probably won't have any luck trying to source it from anyone...your only hope is to get lucky with an OLD dealer that still has some ancient fabric left in stock.

That's early 80's at a guess- I had a Zed 34 in the same colour.

The fabric is called 'Strongon' I think, and yes it's PVC. However, given the value of a 2.6m 1980s PVC sib is about as low as you can get, I think I'd just patch it with whatever PVC is handy.

Strongan is the current stuff.

I think the ZEDs were the "Dynalon"?

My Zed was definitely Strongon-I had the owners manual and it named it. Maybe Dynalon was earlier.

Moot point anyway, any PVC will patch it.

Why not buy a zodiac cadet repair kit from a dealer with patches in two tone might be as near as you will get.

Cheers
