Wanted: Yanmar 6lp engine

hi all, after a yanmar 6lp ( 6 cylinder 315hp ) engine for a project rib, beer tokens waiting

Hi 6lps nowadays are like hens teeth and hard to find the right side of 10k
I have a pal has a yamaha 420sti 240hp which is the same block as the 6lp
The engine has not been fitted to a boat since it had a full rebuild and comes with a full 8 hour duration dyno test report
Hes located in Wolverhampton so not a kick in the butt from you

Think the price is suspicious for a new in crate engine £6,700!!!!
For me its not round the corner for a peek but to good to be true i think

I think you'll find it belongs to a woman who's husband has just died & she's clearing out his stuff from the garage. If you send the money, her brother in law will deliver it for free.

wow what a response, thanks to beamishken i might be sorted, also xlgum, yes it is to good to be true, have been trying to contact the "seller" for the past 3 weeks, both email and phone number does not exist / incorrect number
