70hp four stroke outboard

Hi, I am looking for an upgrade to my current two stroke Yamaha 75hp. I want to move this across to another boat and have a quiet four stroke for my family boat. Anything considered any brand not to beaten up is the only thing I ask.

I think my boat would literally take off if I put that on it. Unfortunately the zodiac medline 1 has a max of 75HP and I dont want to try my luck with that sort of horsepower over the recommended maximum. Thank you though

I think half the trouble will be finding one. Mid-sized outboards are pretty scarce and tend to stay with the boat, unless they are being repowered. Before you buy, check the engine running, do a compression test and ask for paperwork, and lots if it.

I'd be tempted to hang fire and wait for a good example Suzuki DF70 or DF60. This is new at Fairweather Marine. https://www.fairweathermarine.co.uk/...s/boat-engines
