I have a 1979 mkII with a 35hp Rude and it goes just fine. Pops onto the plane even with four adults in it.

I was going to remove the thrust board on my mkII Zodiac but managed to keep it. I did notice that the floor to tube joint was re-enforced. I think this would be quite simple to do though. Don't know...

You can launch at the beach/slip next to the sailing club. We always launch there, then go up the river or out of the piers to the coast. Gets a bit messy in the piers with the river and sea meeting....

I am replacing the piece of wood on the inside of the transom that the rear most floor board sits under. I don't think the rotten one that is on is the original, so I'm reluctant to use...

Day on the Tyne

Day out on Sunday. Had a little experiment with transom height. Raised it about 10mm and it cavitated non stop. lowered it back down and was fine in nothing more than the second hole from transom....

The boat I'm looking at has an xdc number that ends in 87. I think this makes it a 1987 model. Can anyone confirm if this boat will be made of hypalon?
