I also have this engine in my Parker and have experienced this problem first hand. Infact its thanks to this forum that I spotted the siezed waste gate, which resulted in having to replace the turbo....

I concur, i did mine a couple of weeks ago and it was a real b*****d. The damper had to come out the back but unfortunately there wasn't enough clearance so in the end I had to remove the coupling...

Thanks Geoff, will keep this in mind. I think trying to change a stub axle at the side of a road might be pushing the boundries for me tbh plus it all looks pretty rusty back there. Thanks anyway...

I thought it was completely normal to see differences of up to 15psi? no doubt someone will correct me if i'm wrong. I owned a yamaha 115 that had a difference of about 10psi and it ran beautifully....
