For what it is worth I'd happily consider a Humber for my next rib - precisely because it is more likely to be in my budget: the Astra or Mondeo of the RIB world.

However if you've any more plans for fundraising let us know and we will circulate the memo that you should be agreed with at all time. I'll also forward the request to the elders of the internet

Oh right - Popular Culture, lost on me I'm afraid! I got an email recently informing me of an upcoming TV show (the sender is aware I don't have/watch TV). Following the transmission, they met me and asked if I had seen the item. I reminded them of my strangeness and they looked blankly at me... "But surely you have SOME way of watching TV?" If you're based in Harris, then you'll have no option but to travel for the right boat. I'd say Scotland is very limited regards pre-owned private/trade market. And if this is your first boat, then personally I'd avoid Ebay.
