Yamaha F250D V6 fuel consumption 2011 my

Hi does anyone have any real life consumption figs for the above. I'm looking at a boat with 2 on the back and was wondering if anyone had any experience with those motors, and if not with the latest model the previous one.

Many thanks Richard

Hello Richard,

Suggest you go to the Yamaha outboards webpage and at the top click on 'Owners resources' and then click on 'performance bulletins'.

Performance Bulletins | Yamaha Outboards

At that page you can load in 4 stroke technology and see actual tests with various boats even with twin 250 hp Yamaha's (try center console type). This will give yuo a great place to compare these engines in differing sizes and weight

Hope this helps

Super comprehensive tests across a range of props which is unusual but nice to see. I have a 225 on a 7m boat so gives me a point of reference
