We (allGadgets) have not been given any advice or suggestion by Seago about testing yourself and we would not recommend it.

As far as we are aware, Seago are actually pressure-testing them.

I can only advise that anyone with lifejackets bearing the affected production dates send them back to Seago.

Sent three, got tested ones + additional new one back - thanks Seago. Then strangely the sent me another three 2 days ago and insisted I destroyed the ones that had previously been checked, which I've duly done. I've also returned the serial numbers for reference.

I assume the gas canisters will be okay to re-use?

Anyone buying Seago lifejackets off Ebay - should be aware of the production quarters in case an unscrupulous individual off-loads them for a quick profit.

Got mine back two days after I sent them off - 8 brand new ones with free crotch straps

Great service from Seago
