Plans are underway for Big Weekend 2013 so make sure you have the date in your diary and tell all your friends and family to come along too! Whether you are young or old, enjoy cruising or racing, travel by sail or power, this is an event that you don't want to miss!
Rather than a conference we are running a boat show this year. Tickets cost only £5 for a day and kids under 16 go free with an adult - what a bargain! We are running a number of 30-40 minute talks throughout the weekend in the big trade hall and in the club & class hall. Already confirmed are the following:
- Learn to splice with Calum Reid
- Starting to skiff
- First Aid on boats with Ocean Youth Trust
- Unlocking the inland waterways
- Sailing photography and use of video cameras with Marc Turner
- MCA Coding with RYA expert Bas Edmonds
- Outboard Maintenance
