I'm offended, how big do you think my nostrils are?
They are my attempt at making expanding bungs for the bow vent holes, ill run you through it: Lucozade bottle cap, same diameter as vent hole (25mm) insert 25mm penny washer inside cap, piece of 6mm stainless rod through hole in penny washer, fill cap with grey silicone and insert another penny washer on top and compress. Oh and obviously put mould release agent inside cap and on rod.
Hopefully in a few days I will have a compressible bung which I can put a 6mm bolt and nut through, insert into vent hole and wind until compressed.

I'll feel a right twat if it doesn't work now!

When 3 tonnes of water hits your open mouth and tries to exit through your nose they feel that big!

It should work. Mine has something similar in, but simpler.
