You can use my attempt as a template of what "to" and what "not to" do.

There's nothing really different to the riding experience twixt a RIB and a motorbike........foot bracing apart.

Thinking about it I see a floating (sprung) jockey seat as a decent upgrade.

I'll get to work.

Maybe I could get some springs of a scrap defender or won't they be reliable enough

No such thing as a "scrap Defender', the springs will be worth a fortune and some little tyke will buy them and decide to build another Defender up around them.
