Might be a bit of a treck for some by Gosport Premier Marina sells it at cost. Was about 97p a litre last time I filled up. One of the cheapest around.

I filled up at Gosport on Saturday for 99p/litre. Still cheap compared to the Hamble. Might be worth setting up an up to date price comparrison on Ribnet as the savings can be huge.

If I lived on the South Coast I would be very tempted to make regular cruises to the Channel Islands.

I object enough to paying 0.91 per litre - there is no way I would pay those marina prices - jerry cans and a trolley for me.

Codders - thought you were clawing back the duty and VAt??. - why dont you take the boat out , clean it up for once and go to Tescos. Get an empty 55 gallon drum from your local garage and fill that up as well. After all ,the way things are going - it will soon be 2 quid a gallon. Anyway, whats 400 odd quid for a man of your means???

i agree Neil great idea if enough of us were filling up at the same place we might in a small way influence the prices they charge
why do these people charge so much?? is it the prices their having to pay for the stuff. i mean lets face it, they dont have to pay rent on an expensive forecourt and staff it for most of the day!!
