Searider 5.4 On Ebay
Hi just to warn you ribnetters about this one won the auction yesterday drove 250 miles there to find a boat had been painted tubes and hull -not mentioned in the sale -had been dropped on its transom-hole right through to flooding chamber-not mentioned in the sale now back on tonight advertised as in good condition!!!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr

me: if i understand correctly you have relisted this item. why did the previous seller not complete the transaction? how much was his closing bid?
him The buyer did not like the boat. he was the only bidder at £4500.00 which I decided is too cheap as the first time i advertised I wanted £6000.00
me: thanks for quick response. What didn't he like ? it seems like a nice tidy boat in the pictures. Ullapool is obviously a bit out-of-the-way to pop up to view and then to pop back up to collect (if won). I'm only in falkirk - but that prob. adds up to 1000 miles!
So just concerned that there is something wrong thats not obvious in the pictures - if someone else walked away...
Does that mean you will no longer consider £4500 if it doesn't sell this time round?

me: Ahh - well I can see why that would put him off. They look fairly new in the pictures but I guess that is just the paint. Perhaps you should mention this in the Ad - so that future bidders aren't disappointed...
