slipways around lymington area

What slipways do people use around lymington? I've been using the one down by the harbour master for years but it's now up to 18 a time for a car launched - over 100hp rib so it's time to look for other cheaper slipways. Any ideas?

I've used the one opposite the RNLI station. Look on Boat launch.

Not sure on RIB prices but to hand launch my SIB it's 5.

I've got a season ticket ('only' 100 for under 100hp but 148 for you). Acts as an incentive to get the boat out and one less thing to worry about when launching.
Might be worth looking at what Calshot charges as there is a good slip there - not too far away from Lymington
Cheers
Neil

I used calshot. It's about 17 quid including car parking. There's also a hose for washing down with after - but it doesn't have an easily accessible jetty like lymington for visitors on the main slip. The season ticket isn't a bad deal so long as you will use the boat enough to justify it - glad I didn't shell out this year with the utterly atrocious weather we have had. Lee on Solent have a free slip - ok for sibs only

Try Swanwick to the South / East of the Premier (Moodys) marina. Seen 26 -30 foot weekend cabin cruisers being launched from there. Take the road opposite Footprint Printers / imperial Cars on the A27. Then park car and trailer along Swanwick Lane or other unrestricted roads.
Hope this helps.

Wellhouse - I hope your on the mend now. I keep my RIB on the water but kayak from there so will warn people of a lurking danger.
