Ribster Rache launches her Osprey

Ribster Rache launches new Osprey

Boat and jetski world stuck to their promise and we collected our 5.8 Osprey Vipermax with its 150 Mercury Opti for Easter.

It was a bit touch and go but Gary pulled out all the stops and made us very happy as it was boating for us all Easter! Whow we will never forget that feeling when we arrived at his boat yard to see the finished article for the first time. White hull and seating pods,(4 singles), Outhill's double console with blue finger nails, blue tubes by Eurocraft with yellow flashings. The stainless steel double A Frame and seat back rests look absolutely fantastic, the workmanship second to none. Upholstery to match tubes with yellow piping.

Dont those V6's ROAR when they are on the tap The sound almost brings tears to your eyes! Hitched up and it was up the A41 through Newport and Whitchurch to Chester, then on to A55 to Anglesey.

We launched at 11.30 the next day (Good Friday) and recovered her back onto the trailer at 7.30p.m. (we did have to run the new engine in!!)

We managed to get her out Saturday, Sunday and Monday and couldn't get enough of her . She goes absolutely fantastic, acceleration is awesome and the deep v hull gives a wonderful soft landing and ride. It's everything we had hoped for and more.

We'll post some pictures shortly but we cannot imagine having any other make.

Thanks to Boat & Jetski World the build and finish of the craft is excellent and second to none.

Ribster Rache

Please to hear the new boat is all you expected.

Seriously thinking of getting the same rig as youself, had thought about the 6.5 but too big to tow any distance behind the Golf.

Would love to see your rib in action and get some idea of sea keeping and performance.

Any chance we could meet up on the water some time.

Home town is Buxton and keep current rib at Caernarfon usually out on the menai most other weekend.

Drop us a line if its a possibility - davgriffiths@deloitte.co.uk

Thanks

David

It doesn't need one. It steers by a thought process system. Waste of time you having one. You'd be going round in circles all the time.

Nah, thirty two foot waves.

Anyway, look after that boat. Part of me is in it. To be exact, some blood and the ends of two fingers.

Pleased to here that you are happy with your new rib, The way that these boats
cope with lumpy seas makes the whole thing more fun , I would not want to swap back to the boston no way.
