RIB steering / hp advice please.

Hello, as above really. I am replacing the existing hydraulic steering system on my Osprey Eagle (Hoses where cut when engine was stolen from the previous owner !) and the helm and wheel are looking tatty. I will be buying a complete new Teleflex system and need to know what length of cable I require. I will be fitting a 50hp - 90hp four stroke outboard engine depending on funds, what would the best choice of hp be for my RIB ? Thanks for any advice. Mark

Hey, just a thought, but John Price at Quinquari had a good deal on new baystar (150HP max rating) Hydraulic systems a while back....they are still listed on the website here: http://www.ribstuff.com/component/pa...art/Itemid,29/

Not sure how much the teleflex system is, but in case it was near in price /thought it might be of interest...

You cant go wrong with seastar or baystar.
