I'm amazed.

It seems that these little ribs take a beating and keep on ticking. Must of been an interisting ride with a 70 on back. I got a pm back from some one who ran the boat with the 70 and they said it took lots of concentration.

I Am Putting A Bench Seat At The Front As Well As The Back And It Will Be Made From 12mm Weather Bonded Ply Or 1/2inch The Origanal Seat That Was In Was Made From 12mm Ply So Seems To Have Worn Well I Have Just Bought A New Ignition Switch For £12 00 That Incorparates The Electric Choke So All Out To Set The Electrics Up At The Weekend And Finish The Rebuild On The Engine I Have Managed To Make A Stencil Out Of Paper With Masking Tape Stuck On With A Second Peice Stuck To It And Printed The Name Out On My Computer And With A Steady Hand Cut The Letters Out With A Craft Knife It Worked Well And Sprayed It With Black Vinyl Paint Only Got The Name To Do Now ,///surf Rider

OK Nobby, you put me to shame. I have not even got my boat out of the garage yet and you are almost finished your restore. I was going to get it out and start getting it ready for the season but in true Canada fashion it started to snow.

hi again Dverstege thanks for your nice comment i have almost finished the johnson engine now only the cover to spray i have ordered the johnson decals off ebay for the cover all the electrics are now working the new choke soloniod i fitted works a treet new water pump also fitted hopefully putting the tubes back on the rib at the weekend and all the controls cant wait to see if all my effort was worth it by the way is your rib a SPORTS BOAT AS MINE IS I HAVE GOT 2 ADJUSABLE TRIM TABS ON THE TRANSOM

Itís sad but true. The one pic is of were my boat spends about 6 months of the year. The other pic is the stabilizers. I took 3 days off work to get it set up and in the water and get some fishing done, it snowed . Maybe try again in couple of weeks.

hi dverstege at last the engine is now ready and i will bring the rib home tomorrow and start the rebuild should not take long as everythink is ready to fit apart from the seats but i will sort them out when everythink is working and wired up
