Liquid latex products - sealing tubes

Through research, I've found several liquid latex products for tube injection...ToobSeal, Inland Marine, etc...

Also, found a post from Zodiac dealer in Adelaide, Australia that uses a liquid latex no. 4240...it's carried by Fitch Rubber in Adelaide and looks to be a Bostik product...

Went on Bostik's U.S. site and don't see equivalent product...Lady in cust. service said it sounded like a European / English product....I'm going to call back and see if they have an equivalent product for U.S. market...

Anyone here have info on this product and know if it is the same thing as ToobSeal, Inland Marine latex sealant and others on the market?

Thanks in advance for your help.

If you are looking for the product that seals tiny small leaks on tubes, West Marine.com has equivalent product : It's applied through air valve, must tumble sib to distribute evenly.

Inflatable Sealant model 444679 for inside tubes repairs and Liquid Rubber model gray 8688657, white 413560 for outside tubes repairs. Also check Defender.com

Does anyone know if this will work on a Zodiac H2p airdeck?

Liquid Rubber

Thank you for the information on West Marine products.

Have you used their liquid rubber product? If so, can you give some feedback on its effectiveness in sealing small leaks? How does it look when applied?

Sorry Geronimo, no idea, we have never used any of these 2 products mainly because our boats are brand new, the oldest is just 3 years old. You can contact WM and ask them. Both products are the last issue to do to any very old sib before placing in the big waist basket.

Tinker, are you inquiring for the interior sealant or liquid rubber use on tubes or air matt ? as both are different products.

Happy Sibbing
