When we had a ban in the northwest year before last i think?! i used my power washer with 2x20 litre buckets of water and had a short piece of hose pipe going from the machine to the bucket.The machines use very little water and still did a great job of cleaning my rib off.

go to slip without a hose ban in place, then wash your boat there...I have also used jetwasher car washes to clean boats....

are they for all the Scottish mp,s that work and live in England

back to the thread,

Rembember a guy got done by the authorities during a hosepipe ban years ago when he decided to syphon his used bath water out through the window to water his garden ,
they said that the clause to that was that any used water would not be going direct back into the drains and so cause extra problems with the sewerage works ,

This does say- still allowed ;

Cleaning engines designed to be cleaned with a hosepipe

So those with suitable 'plugs' surely are OK ?

even then thousands of engines never even get a look at a wash down - let along flushed so I reckon a few months if forced not to flush would be fine ?

Oddly if you are over 65 you can water your garden all you want ( if I have read it right ) ......
