GRP: Removing Fuel Stains

Can anyone recommend any products for removing fuel stains (neat petrol) from both gloss and matt (technical terms ) white fibre glass?

I'm going to give Star Brite hull cleaner ago at the weekend, but that seems to be more aimed at removing grime.

Would a bilge cleaner be better - don't want to harm the nice shiny surface though.

If nothing else works, try t-cut on the glossy surface. It'll make a mess on a matt surface though.

My plan of getting up early today to go boating was ruined by post exam celebrations - shan't get around to it until Wednesday now.

Cheers Nos, I’ll give that ago if all else fails.

Cod, I don't think it’s damaged the surface - its just gone slightly yellow. I didn't realise GRP was quite so porous - my hulls quite yellow underneath and it sits on a rack most of the time
