Both go pros are on old camera lanyards as a back up. On the gecko I tie the lanyard tight around the chin strap. It is important it is taut otherwise the lanyard flaps on the go pro housing at speed and the microphone really picks this up and actually is quite noisy on play back.

On the helmet I use the go pro 3m curved mounts.

On the aframe I got this from Ribcraft and has completely reduced any gello effect as originally I used the go pro 3m flat mount Ribcraft 585 Go pro

I was impressed with your videos so I have decided to give it a go, I have super clued the fixing on to a spare helmet and used a fishing wire as back up

Cheers mate.

Yep snap, lanyard attaches on the back door hinge which will hopefully hold the camera long enough to get it should the adhesive mount fail

Ok so decision made I ordered the black hero 3 just wish I had it for round the Island! Extra battery pack will have to wait for next pay day!

Now I'm going to have to take the rib out this week Thursday onwards to test it/
